When it comes to industrial and commercial design and engineering, our team has extensive experience across a wide range of industries. Find out more about our rigorous process.
It's all in the details, as they say. That's why Cellpoint meticulously follows a multi-step process, developed through years of refinement, for engineering and design in new product introduction.
We not only extensively research your industry and business for context, but we work closely with your team to thoroughly understand the vision, goals, and requirements for your project.
We convert the information we gathered in Discovery into an actionable blueprint for the project, laying out the details of scope and required resources.
Our seasoned engineers and designers then get to work in developing initial concepts for your new product. They refine these initial ideas through a dynamic, iterative process to develop the optimal solution.
Carefully following all documented requirements and goals, we put our shared thinking to the test as we develop physical or digital models of your product.
With an approved prototype, we rigorously test and refine, making any necessary adjustments to form or function to ensure it meets or exceeds all of your needs.
Finally, we prepare the optimized prototype for manufacture, identifying the best solutions for successfully bringing your new product to market.
We believe rapid development and rollout of complex products requires working together every step of the way. That’s why we see our client engagement team as an extension of your internal team. With strong collaboration and communication, we deliver on our promises and build strong relationships.
Partnering with a major semiconductor and electronics device manufacturer, Cellpoint brought concepts from their research labs to life, enabling third parties to license innovative technologies that fall outside of their core product lines. This included the product requirements, electronic design, firmware development, and mechanical component selection. We designed, engineered, and built the production versions, from a conceptual demo to market-ready product, within months.
Cellpoint eventually licensed the product, which was co-marketed with the customer, facilitating sales of the customer’s consumer product compute devices in off-grid locations.
